He is well-known for his parts as Don Keefer in the HBO series The Newsroom and as Matt Short in the sitcom television series Life in Pieces. In the beginning of 2016, Sadoski was engaged to Amanda Seyfried. On September 12 in 2016, they got engaged. They got married on the 12th of March 2017. Seyfried is a member of INARA's board, gave birth to their second child in September 2020. The organization helps children affected by conflict-related injuries to receive the medical treatment they require. He is also an ambassador for the non-profit organizations War Child USA and War Child Canada as well as is a member of the advisory board of the non-profit Fortify Rights and a board member emeritus of the non-profit Refugees International
